Wholesale Cream Jars

Compare cosmetic jars with bamboo or wood lids and outer shells by inner container material, usable volume, nominal size, mouth opening and closure components. Gram labels are not guaranteed fill weights; test the chosen jar, lid and liner with your formula.

MOQ varies by size and customization. Ask about samples, decoration, production timing and packing for your selected cream-jar configuration.

Wholesale Bamboo & Wood Cream Jars, Made to Your Specification

ECO-BAMBOO supplies empty cosmetic cream jars with bamboo and solid wood lids to skincare brands, contract manufacturers and beauty distributors. Every jar is a two-part system: a glass, PP or aluminum inner container that touches your formula, and a bamboo or wood outer shell and lid that carries your brand. Because the inner and the outer are chosen separately, you can match barrier properties to the formula and still keep a natural, plastic-free look on the shelf.

We supply from Guangzhou and ship worldwide. Orders are quoted per configuration rather than from a fixed catalogue price, because capacity, inner material, decoration and packing all change the cost. Send your size, formula type, artwork and destination, and we will return a written quotation with MOQ, tooling, sample timing and production window.

Choosing the Inner: Glass, PP or Aluminum

Glass is the default for premium skincare. It is heavy, chemically inert, does not absorb fragrance and can be frosted or tinted to protect light-sensitive actives. Use amber or opaque glass for vitamin C, retinol and botanical oils; use clear or frosted glass when the formula itself is the visual selling point.

PP is the practical choice for large sizes and high-volume programmes. It is lighter, survives drops, costs less to ship and works well for body butters and scrubs where a 200 g glass jar would be fragile and expensive to freight.

Aluminum gives the highest barrier in the thinnest wall. It is fully opaque, blocks oxygen and light, and suits actives that oxidise quickly. It is also the easiest of the three to recycle as a single material.

Whichever you choose, test the complete system — jar, lid, liner and your actual formula — before production. Fill weight is not the same as nominal capacity: a 50 g jar does not hold 50 g of every cream, because density varies. We quote by nominal size and confirm usable volume on samples.

Capacity Guide: 5 g to 200 g

  • 5–15 g: lip balms, salves, eye creams, sample and travel sizes.
  • 30–50 g: the standard face cream and moisturiser range; the most common configuration for indie skincare launches.
  • 100 g: night creams, body butters, masks and professional-size retail packs.
  • 150–200 g: spa, refill and value-size programmes where shipping weight matters.

Closures, Liners and Leak Testing

A bamboo lid is a decorative shell, not a seal. The seal comes from the liner inside it — typically a PE or EVA disc, or a screw thread on the inner container. For creams that travel by air or sit in humid bathrooms, specify the liner explicitly and ask for a transit test: fill, close, invert, and run a vibration or drop simulation before bulk production. We can supply jars with the liner fitted and tested, or ship liners separately if you fill in-house.

Decoration and Customization

Silk screen printing gives the sharpest small text on glass. Hot stamping suits metallic logos on wood and bamboo. Laser engraving is the most durable option on bamboo lids because it cuts into the grain instead of sitting on top of it. Colour coating on glass lets you match a Pantone reference across a range. Artwork files, dielines and proofing are handled before tooling, so you approve a physical sample rather than a screen mock-up.

MOQ, Sampling and Lead Time

Minimum order is 500 pieces per size and colour for stock configurations; mixed sizes can be discussed. Custom shells, new tooling and multi-colour decoration are quoted case by case, because the MOQ depends on the process rather than on the jar. Custom samples take 7 days. Production runs typically take 10–35 working days after sample approval — the exact window depends on the component, the decoration and the quantity, and is written into your quotation rather than assumed.

We quote within 1–2 business days of receiving your specification. If a deadline is tight, tell us the date you need the goods in hand, not the date you need them shipped, and we will work back from freight time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order?
500 pieces per size and colour for stock jars. Custom tooling and multi-colour decoration are quoted individually.

Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Custom samples take 7 days; stock samples are available on request. Sample cost and freight are quoted with your enquiry.

Is the gram size the fill weight?
No. 30 g, 50 g and 100 g are nominal designations. Actual fill depends on formula density, so confirm usable volume on a sample.

Can the lid be engraved with our logo?
Yes — laser engraving, hot stamping and silk screen are all available on bamboo and wood lids.

Do you supply the liner?
Yes. We can fit and test the liner before shipping, or supply it separately if you fill in-house.

How long does production take?
Typically 10–35 working days after sample approval. The exact window is confirmed per item and quantity in your quotation.
